You're welcome too, any more sculptures in the making?
But I do have more to post, eight or so (though, nothing from Mass Effect, yet). I wanted to space them out, because it takes me a while to sculpt them. I actually am going to upload one shortly.
YAAAAAY! Is it a turian or another ME character? If so, I'm sure I'll find it in one of the group galleries. Can't wait, I'll keep my eyes open.
I bet! How long does it take you to finish one?
I'd so love to try my hands on some 3D sculpting sometime, but I can't seem to find any materials (clay or plastic or whatever people use) around where I live.
For the Saren bust, it was easily over 200 hours, but that was spread out over the summer. It would have been less, but I changed the spacing of his eyes three time, so every other detail also had to move (I am very picky). Any of my own creations don't take as long, because they only exist in my head, so the details aren't set in stone.
You really should try sculpting, really any clay would work. It is exciting to watch something slowly come to life.
WOW! 200 hours ... ha ha. Ah, thanks for telling me, perhaps I'm better off working with pencil and paper, at least I can do a re-sketch in five minutes.
I can imagine! Unfortunately, I live far out on the countryside and rarely get a chance to go to a bigger city to look for clay ... Ah well, maybe some day?
I too live out in the country(ish, small towns here and there), and would never trade it for anything.
